Fabric and finish
The Olive Aura Abaya is made in luxury flowy crepe, cut and finished by karigars in our Multan workshop. Both fabrics we use are opaque by design, so coverage never depends on what you wear underneath, and both come back from a wash without needing to be fought with an iron.
Olive Aura is the shade the collection started with, and it behaves differently in the two lights you will actually wear it in. In daylight it reads as a dusty, grey-leaning green, closer to a dry olive leaf than to bottle green, and the crepe texture breaks the colour up so it never looks flat. Under warm indoor light it drops much darker and takes on a velvet quality in the folds, which is why it photographs richer at a dinner than it looks at noon. It sits with warm neutrals rather than cool ones. A cream, camel, stone or black hijab all work with it; a bright white one fights it. Gold jewellery suits it far better than silver, because the yellow in gold picks up the same warmth the green is built on. It is the practical shade of the five for daily wear in dusty cities, since road dust and splash marks do not show on it the way they do on ivory. For occasions it is quiet enough for a daytime dawat and deep enough for an evening one.

How the Olive Aura Abaya fits
Order the Olive Aura Abaya by your height, not your dress size. Up to 5 feet 2 inches takes S, 5 feet 3 to 5 feet 5 takes M, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8 takes L, and 5 feet 9 and above takes XL. The body is cut loose through the chest and hip, so height is the only measurement that changes the fit. Every size is Rs. 6,800.

The Olive Aura Abaya is opaque as it comes and needs nothing underneath it. It is cut in luxury flowy crepe, which is lined or dense enough to stay solid in daylight, so what you wear under it is your own clothes rather than an extra slip. If you hold any abaya against a bare bulb you will see the weave, which is true of every fabric and is not the test.

Is the waist belt in the photos included?
No. The belt in the Olive Aura Abaya photographs is styling only and is not in the parcel. What ships is the abaya and its matching hijab and niqab. We say so plainly because a belt in a photo is the single most common thing customers expect to find in the box and do not.
